Penguins eliminated Flyers continue.

In game six of the pens-flyers series, the penguins reverted back to their previous style of play. They didn't quite add up to the game the flyers brought and paid the price for it in the form of a 5-1 loss. That means that in the Eastern conference the Rangers, Capitals, Devils and the Flyers will all advance to round two. In the Western conference the Kings, Blues, Coyotes, and the Predators will advance.

Pens Dominate Flyers 10-3 game 4

Yesterday was game four of the first series in the playoffs for the Penguins and the Flyers and it definitely strayed away from the norm for the past three games. The game was called tighter than anything I've ever seen before and that most likely made a difference. As you can see in the title the end score totaled at 10-3 Pens. The three stars of the game were Jordan Staal (1) Evgeni Malkin (2) and Matt Niskanen (3). Stall had  an awesome 3 goals for the night out of 3 shots on goal. Malkin ended up with 2 goals and one assist giving him 3 points. Niskanen had 1 goal and 1 assist. I'm looking forward to seeing game 5 and hopefully a 6th and 7th.

NHL Playoffs Game one Pens

Today is my first post on a new blog. The playoffs for hockey have started and yesterday the Pittsburgh Penguins played the Philadelphia Flyers. The game was close with the Pens leading by two into the second period. Then they started playing bad and let the Flyers tie it and take it into overtime where they won 4-3 Flyers. That was the first game in a seven game series for the playoffs.
